We created a set of guidelines outlining a conservative approach to safely resuming our Dojo Training of ‘Traditional Martial Arts, Practical Self Defense, Physical Fitness & Character Development’. The Martial Arts Center encourages all students to attain the proper reference materials necessary for their at home practice. The following manual's are broken down into separate requirement categories, as well as the student level for which each manual applies.

Basic Manual

Our Basic Requirement Training Manual is meant to assist the student in learning the "Beginning Fundamentals" of Shuri-ryu Karate-do. This manual is great for the “New Student" or the "Seasoned Student” who has never trained in the style of Shuri-ryu Karatedo . The following categories can be found in this training manual:

History, Lineage, Blocks, Punches, Kicks, Stances, Kata (3 Punch, Tai Ichi & Taikyoku Ichi), Ippons 1-2, Taezus 1-2, Glossary of Japanese terminology used in the Martial Arts.

This manual compliments the Basic Level Training guide as it follows the same format, as well as offers continued instruction in the same categories.
