Wednesday's Foster Child Fox 5 Atlanta has a special program featuring foster children in need of loving homes. Every Wednesday Fox 5 Atlanta features a different foster child participating in an activity of their choice. The Martial Arts Center and Shihan Mike Hernandez had the fortunate opportunity to meet and train a young man named Stephen. We both learned a lot and left encouraged that he would soon find a home. We are very thankful to Fox 5 Atlanta for this experience.

CBS 46 2008 Kick-A-Thon The Martial Arts Center hosts a "Kick-A-Thon" Fundraiser every two years to benefit different Children Cancer Centers here in America. In 2006, we raised over $17,000 for St. Jude's Cancer Research Hospital. In 2008, we supported the "Aflac" Cancer Center and Blood Disorders Service of Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta and raised over $5,000. The year 2010 marked our "10th" year in business... At the end of the year we paired our "10 Year Anniversary" Celebration with our fundraising event to benefit the Children's "Aflac" Center and raised over $11,500.
