2023 Kick-a-thon raised $14,100!The Martial Arts Center hosted its Annual Fundraiser at the end of 2023 for 'Kids with Cancer', over at CHOA / AFLAC. We culminated our fundraising efforts in a "Kick-A-Thon" which took place on November 18, 2023 at The Martial Arts Center in Tucker, Ga. . This was a fun way to celebrate everyone's effort and money raised up to this point. We executed 5000 kicks over 3 hours (10am to 1pm). There was be music and laughter the entire time and sore muscles the next day!

The Aflac Cancer Center treats nearly 350 new cancer patients each year and follows more than 2,500 patients with sickle cell disease, hemophilia and other blood disorders. Patients range from infants to young adults. Michael Hernandez, Shihan, a 7th Degree Black Belt and owner of The Martial Arts Center, is himself a cancer survivor.
